What is It’s Just Yoga Festival-Central Florida?

It's Just Yoga is Local, Local, Local - Central Florida this our community event!

The message of “It’s Just Yoga” is: Yoga for Everyone, Yoga for You. Classes are donation based and accepted on site (cash or credit cards).The festival is built around local businesses, local yoga studios and benefits a local charity. Even if you choose not to participate in a class please enjoy the It's Just Yoga Health & Fitness Marketplace and the other activities offered at the festival.

Where is the festival being held?

The festival will be held in the heart of Downtown Orlando at Lake Eola Park (corner of Robinson & Rosalind 

This is a NEW LOCATION within the park. We are now near the amphitheater 

What is the festival date and hours?

The festival will be held on Sunday, March 3rd  from 10:00 am – 4:00pm.

Classes are scheduled throughout the day. 

Do I need a ticket to attend a class?

No. All classes are donation based and benefit New Hope for Kids. Donations are accepted onsite at the Information Tent.  Though there is no ticket to attend a class, all participants must sign a liability release waiver. (Sign Online Waiver Here) Bring your signed waiver to the Information Tent to get your wristband. 

Does the event benefit charity?

Yes. All classes are donation based and benefit New Hope for Kids. Donations are accepted onsite at the Information Tent. 

What will I find at the It's Just Yoga Health & Fitness Marketplace?

The Marketplace is a free the public show where attendees can interact, sample and explore the latest trends in health, wellness, fitness and eco products. Many vendors will also be offering opportunities to win great prizes throughout the day. You will also have the chance to meet several local yoga studios and find the right fit for you!

What should I do when I first arrive at the Fest?

Get an event directory at the Information Tent and show your signed liabilty waiver (Sign Online Waiver Here) to get a participation wristband.  You can maike your donation at the Information Tent with one of the charity volunteers. Choose which classes you would like to attend or watch and relax and visit the It's Just Yoga Marketplace.

What is a release waiver?

All class participants must sign a liability release waiver (Sign Online Waiver Here)  before participating in any class. Children under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by parent or legal guardian. You will receive a wristband with a signed waiver that will be good for all classes. Waivers are available online or at the Fest. No waiver is required to enjoy the Marketplace or watch classes.

Can I come if I’m new to yoga?

We welcome newcomers to It’s Just Yoga. The message of “It’s Just Yoga” is: Yoga for Everyone, Yoga for You.” It’s Just Yoga” festivals are for yogis of all experience levels, ages, shapes and sizes. If it's your first time on the mat this will be the opportunity to learn something new or if you're an experienced yogi you can go to new heights of yoga fun.

Please listen to your body, pace yourself throughout the day, and feel free to sit back and watch and rest at any time. This is completely acceptable in any class.

A limited number of yoga mats will be available for use if you do not own one.

What should I bring?

We suggest that you bring your yoga mat and any props that you regularly use in your practice. A limited number of yoga mats will be available for use on a first come first serve basis. You may also want to bring a refillable water bottle, slip-on shoes, sunscreen and of course wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to move freely.

Is the event family friendly?

Yes. We encourage a safe and nurturing environment for people of all ages. There is a special children’s class but children may participate in other classes as well. All children must have a release waiver signed by their parent or guardian. We encourage a safe and nurturing environment and you are responsible for your children at all times.

 

Will there be food vendors available?

Yes visit our Vegan Food Truck Pop Up.

What happens if it rains?

Rain or shine we will be there with a smile to greet you. If there is lightning we’ll postpone until we have been in the clear for 30 minutes. 

Rights of Festival Organizers

The Event Manager or a representative reserves the right to inspect all bags and containers.

It’s Just Yoga Festival and its representatives, with the exception of gross negligence or willful misconduct, shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity that may be occasioned for any reason by festival attendees, including but not limited to: death, personal injury, illness, delay or cancellation of scheduled performances and loss of or damage to personal property.

All attendees who choose to participate in a class will need to sign a release waiver. (Sign Online Waiver Here)

For the safety and enjoyment of all Festival guests, volunteers and staff, It’s Just Yoga Festival reserves the right to accept or reject any participant at any time without liability, in any event it determines appropriate, at its sole and exclusive discretion.
