About the Instructor

After retiring as an officer in the Army, Mike Rodriguez has been teaching all forms of yoga for 15 years. Mike received Level 3 (500hr) training from Ashram Yoga in New Zealand in classic and traditional training passed down from Swami Satyananda Saraswati. His passions are in the esoteric and tantric practices passed down from his Swamis. A lover of music, he has been leading Kirtan as a walla for over a decade with his band - That Kirtan Band. As a surfer and skateboarder, he custom makes skateboards as Purple Monkey Skateboards. All the while, his passion is in creating energetic practices to assist the student towards an experience of their untapped potential that resides within. Mike can be found at Sundari Yoga in Cocoa Beach.
